MGO AU Baijiu

When Harry Wang arrived as a new immigrant from China in 2015, one of the things he missed most from his homeland was Baijiu. Good quality, genuine Chinese-made Baijiu proved almost impossible to source in Australia. Harry's solution to this problem was to make some locally.

MGO Au Baijiu has a different style to traditional Chinese Baijiu. High-quality Australian malting barley is used and the spirit is distilled in Australian-made copper pot stills. The spirit is then aged in oak barrels to emerge as liquid gold. The flavour of the malt is simple but elegant, the balance is perfect and the finish lingers with a pleasant warmth.
